We do not list chains, franchises or generic supermarkets here. The cohort is hand-curated by the CostaSecret editors, so each entry is a real place we would send a friend.
How do shops get added to this list?
Two routes. We add shops ourselves while we walk the Costa del Sol and we add shops that owners list via /list-your-business/ on the Speciaalzaak tier (5 euros per month, 49 per year). After listing, the CostaSecret editors check the shop fits the criteria above and then flip the specialty-shop flag.
